I’m not ashamed to admit it… I am a colon cleanse addict. It’s true. I do a full cleanse at least 4 times per year.
As disgusting a subject people might think this is, colon cleansing to me is one of the most healthy things I have ever done.
What Product Do I Use ?

My Results From Cleansing – How Great Is This?
When I cleanse, these are the results I personally get:
- Improved skin – blemish free and wrinkles seem to be less pronounced. I can see my skin deteriorate as months go by without a cleanse.
- Flatter stomach – My pooch is greatly reduced right after each cleanse. I can fit into jeans a couple waist sizes smaller after I finish my cleanse.
- Increased energy – Holy Toledo, the energy increase is unreal. I can actually keep up with my kid’s energy level. This is my #1 favorite result from cleansing.
- Regular Bowel Movements – Going everyday is not an issue now. You should be going at least once or twice a day, if not, break out your credit card and order ASAP.
- Gas/Bloat eliminated – This is self explanatory.
- Illness wiped out – I no longer catch colds or the flu, even when around children who are sick. My immune system is so healthy that it fights everything off. Your intestines absorb the nutrients your body needs through its intestinal lining. But what happens is you get a lot of old impacted fecal matter that starts building up on this intestinal wall. Not all of it gets cleaned out of your system when you go to the bathroom. Because of your lifestyle, this layer of decaying fecal matter builds up, one layer at a time, getting thicker and thicker.
As time goes on, it becomes increasing difficult for your body to absorb the nutrients it needs through the intestinal lining due to the thick layer of fecal matter separating it from the nutrients.

- Other products copy one another, so they bring nothing new and innovative to the market. Most of the time they are copying terrible formulas to start with.
- Other products don't always use psyllium – some use this weird form of oxygen cleansing which is totally unnatural – let's keep oxygen to breathing and not cleansing, and we'll be alright.
- None of the other products contain Psyllimax™ and that is enough reason to not use the others right there. Psyllimax™ is a patent pending ingredient that turns the DrFloras colon cleanse into a super cleanse. More info on that at their site.
- Other products don't even use the right amount of cleansing ingredients. DrFloras Colon Cleanse was developed by doctors, scientists, and other health practitioners. Other companies just seem to throw things together for their formulas, and if you look at the ingredients, they don’t make sense, and most cannot work based on their formula.
- Other products add major laxatives. One thing I didn't want, was having to be nearby a toilet all day long. Who wants that? With DrFloras, I don't have to worry about that. It makes me slightly more regular, but not to the point where I am running off the toilet multiple times per day while I am at work. In fact, I don't have to go to the bathroom until I get home after work.
So What Makes The DrFloras™ Formula Better ?
You get more cleansing ingredients per serving with the DrFloras Colon Cleanse than you do with any other product. You need the appropriate amount of cleanser to get the job done. You wouldn’t wash your dirty car with one drop of liquid soap would you? Of course not.
So how do these other colon cleanse products expect you to believe that their miniscule amount of cleansing ingredient per serving is going to do any good?
Don’t believe it.
Here’s a good rule of thumb that I read about at another site:
If the main formula of a colon cleansing product comes in pills, then it is likely a garbage product.
That’s because there is just no way to get enough powdered formula into the pills to do any good. They might have all the right ingredients, but they don’t have enough of it.
So if it come in pills, I doubt it works. And I know, because almost everything out there has failed for me.
Any good colon cleansing product is going to come in a powder form that you scoop out and mix into a drink. One scoop of powder is equal to about 20 pills, so do the math.
Now you know why taking 2 pills of some off beat colon cleansing product doesn't do squat.
The fact of the matter is that most products on the market are created by people with little to no medical education. Do you want to risk your health by taking products like that? I know I don’t!

Bobby, Yes and No. The MAIN DrFloras formula is not in pill formula. It’s a powdered formula you mix into your favorite juice drink, so its not pills. The bottle of pills that does come with it is an extra support pack to enhance the powdered formula. So you mix the powdered formula into your favorite drink, and then you take the support pill while drinking everything down. If you think about it, it’s somewhat sad that the support formula of DrFloras™ has more volume of ingredients than the entire formula of other products. Competitors of DrFloras better get on the ball or they’re going to get creamed.

Nice article. I always wondered how effective the products were that had dosages of 2 to 4 pills per serving. It seems most pills that are used today have about 600mg of ingredients, so even 4 pills stuffed to the gills are less than half a teaspoon. Not much to work with. I didn’t realize that a table spoon was 3 teaspoons. So a tablespoon of DrFloras would be equal to taking 20 pills. Its no wonder most products don’t work when you take just a few pills.

I got my DrFloras and have been on it for 3 days and I was seeing mucoid plaque yesterday and then again today. I’m going to take a picture tomorrow. DrFloras has no real taste so I mix it with apple juice and its like drinking apple juice with pulp. I don’t have orange juice or I would mix it with that to see how the texture is.

I can tell you based on my first DrFloras cleanse, this stuff works really well. Im no newbie to cleanses and I agree this is the fastest working stuff there is. By day 4 I passed a really wild looking mucoid plaque that looked like a bunch of chicken gizzards hooked together. It was truly an ugly site. From what I understand, I was one of the original people to try DrFloras on a trial basis before it was released to the public. Like other, I have gone through a handful of popular colon cleanses with mediocre results at best. I almost didn’t like DrFloras in the beginning due to a bloated feeling I had, but it went away about halfway through the cleanse. What really changed my mind was that before the first week was even over, I started seeing the Mucoid Plaque coming out. Neither myself nor anybody I personally know that uses colon cleansers had ever seen that happen before. In fact, I would say it comes out more lubricated, so it comes out easier and with less effort. As gross as it sounds, you don’t even need as much toilet paper afterwards, sometimes almost none at all.
Susan, I have never liked the oxygen products… they always tended to give me diarrhea, and that meant being close to a bathroom at all times. So I don’t know how you would know if you get good or poor results. Diarrhea to me is not a good result. Good luck with that.

LT, although most people are likely going to lose weight after a colon cleanse, I would not make that the focus of this product. I can say however that your digestive process may be greatly improved and this will allow you to better absorb food and lead to less weight gain. You may also increase your energy levels causing you to burn more calories each day than you used to, so in the long run, you lose weight there as well. Using the Dr Floras colon cleanse as well as the Parasite Defense and Probiotics is just a really good thing to do.
Lena, there is no special diet, although you should try to eat healthy while on the product. Many people like to fast during a portion of their cleanse, and I might recommend that the first few days of the cleanse, eating small meals if needed.
Sharon, the pills are an enhancing agent for those that need it. My guess as to why they weren’t just all added to the powder would be…. for cost reasons and because the pills contain a lot of the charcoal element which would make your drinks a blackish color. Psycologically, that might be hard for many people to get past. But then again, I could be wrong, as I am not a doctor or scientist.

RVG, DrFloras colon cleanse is VERY thorough, and it cleans you out good. One of the drawbacks to getting rid of all the bad is that you also get rid of some of the good bacteria. Just curious...I've done cleanses before (specifically Colonix - on the Best Colon Cleanse Review) and have not seen anything like the pics posted so I'm not sure I want to spend any more money to do this again with no results. It's really discouraging.
I've also done Colonics but they are somewhat expensive so I haven't done that for a couple of years. Nothing I saw from the colonic looks anything like the photos.

Sara, the Best Colon Cleanse Review site you talk about is a paid site, and I have been told they are affiliated in some way with DrNatura (hence it being #1.) You can't take any review site seriously if they rate Bowtrol as a top cleansing product. And Dual Action Cleanse is rated in the top 10 at their site and they have thousands of customer complaints posted online. Why would a legit review site list those products? I could go on about the other products, most of which I or people I know have tried. Why isn't DrFloras listed there? I suppose if I was ranking products, and I wanted my #1 product to stand out, I would surround it with poor quality products. I'm not saying the #1 rated product there isn't any good, but you have to somewhat laugh at a review site when it ranks products in the top 10 that either don't work, are dangerous, or have the highest complaint rate in the industry.

Midge, all psyllium based products thicken up when liquid is introduced. DrFloras uses Psyllimax instead of normal psyllium, and I find that when I mix it with apple juice, it doesn't thicken up very quickly. So mix DrFloras with apple juice like everybody else is doing and you should be fine.

The whole mucoid thing is super yucky, and looks painful, and looks like it would be quite gross to deal with. Please let me know what you think. When you take the crystals do you need to be near a bathroom for the whole clense... or can you go about your regular life? I am hoping to lose 10 pounds at least, and feel healthier, and hopefully have less stomach and bowel issues.

I know others have written me saying they always have to be close to a bathroom when on evercleanse, so that is a BAD sign to me. Why don't you give it a try and then come back and post your results? Or you can take my advice and use DrFloras which I can assure you works and doesn't require you plan your day around the proximity of a restroom.

Aliban, you don't have to worry about being close to any bathroom. DrFloras colon cleanse will make you regular and you'll likely go to the bathroom once or twice per day, but they will be the same time each day, and unlike diarrhea that you get from other cleanses, you won't have that feeling and control when and where you go just like you can now.
John, I think you have DrFloras confused with another product. The cleanse only lasts 15 days, and then you can do the parasite defense which is another 15 days, and finally if you do the probiotics, that is 30 days. Total is 60 days. I would agree with you that 90 days of straight cleansing is too much, and in my opinion, companies that recommend that typically are more interested in your money than your health.

No, I have never had stomach or abdominal cramps from using DrFloras. I have had severe cramps from using products that liquify your waste through oxygenation. Those products not only hurt, but you MUST be close to a bathroom at all times, and you should carry a spare change of underwear just in case. You don't have that issue with products that use Psyllimax in them.

eatriz, I mentioned that if the main cleansing product came in pills you shouldn't trust it. The products that come in capsule form from DrFloras are not the cleansing products. The colon cleanse product by DrFloras is a powder you mix into your drink. As for your question about the other products, I would recommend you get everything that comes in the Ultimate Kit. I have not tried the colon cleanse without the cleans support capsules, but you could certainly try. The DrFloras site claims their were designed to be used together.

I have used oxygen based products before (two different brands.) I know what they do to me and others who have written in. Ask anybody who has taken an oxygen based product, and they will all tell you they have diarrhea when using the product. However, those proponents of oxygen cleanses will tell you it's not diarrhea, no-no-no... that the liquid stools are just the bad stuff being liquified. Huh? Liquid stools to me is diarrhea -- either way, you're cramped, passing gas all day, and running to the bathroom at work all day when you thought you passed gas but instead something squirted out -- NO Thank You!

It is for this reason that I always stay away from anything that has Senna in it. Do any of the things you have or are using contain Senna? I have read messages sent to me by people who claimed they have become regular for the first time in their life after using DrFloras products. What do you have to lose? Not much. And you have a lot to gain. If it doesn't work for you, send it back for a refund.

Dee, I would do the cleanse and then take your Acai berry products afterwards. Remember that if your colon is fouled up like most people's, then you may only be absorbing part of the nutrients you take in, and this would include your Acai Berry product. After the DrFloras cleanse, your system should be running at peak efficiency, and the Acai you take will be readily absorbed into your system, making it far more effective than if you had a fouled up colon. This applies to all food and supplements!

Next, let's put the mucoid plaque part aside for the moment. Regardless of what people believe about mucoid plaque, there are millions of people that have cleansed and felt so much better after wards. Many people have been suffering from some form of ailment for years, and those symptoms often go away after cleansing.
People have claimed to no longer get ill after purifying their body through cleansing, or they notice immediate improvements in memory, in their skin, in their focus, etc. The ability to have deep, restful sleep is restored in many people who constantly wake up tired and exhausted, day-after-day.

Internal Cleanse - 15 days
Parasite Cleanse - 15 days
Probiotic Replenishment - 30 days.
You do one after the other, so it lasts 60 days. You can take the cleanse and the parasite defense at the same time, but some people might get gassy or feel stomach discomfort. If not, you can shave 15 days.

I too was skeptical, but I took a chance and tried and boy am I glad I did. I just today passed the infamous mucoid plaque...never usually get excited about my bowel movements...but this was another great way of seeing the product is working!
I am sleeping better too. I didn't realize that the waste in my body would have anything to do with that! I also feel like I have more energy...that is a huge plus!

KC, this has been answered here. The photos of mucoid plaque you see look larger than they really are (they are zoomed in.) There's no discomfort, no clogging of toilets! HAHA.
Most people never have any kind of stomach ache from what I have heard, and the DrFloras cleanse will get your body into a regular mode where you're going to the bathroom once or twice per day, but at regular time intervals, so you will be able to control this yourself, and not have IT control you, like oxygen based cleanses force you into.

Hi Dawn! I received my 2 bottles of the cleanse today and was anxious to start. I am now very disappointed after reading the jar, as it says that if you do not have a daily Bowel Movement, you should not start with this product, but should start with the Bowel Regulator product first.
I guess I missed that on both yours and Dr. Floras website. Is it really necessary if you are not having regular BM's to do the regulator first? I had read all the comments on your website and never saw anyone mention this, so maybe it's really not necessary?

Now to answer your question:
If you are not going to do the Bowel Regulator, then I would do the following:
1) Start with just one serving per day, and do this until you are having 1 BM per day.
2) Make CERTAIN that you drink a lot of water. Drink your shake and then drink a BIG glass of water immediately following, and be sure to drink lots of water throughout the day (even more if you are active.)
Once you are regular, then you can go to 2 servings per day, and then 3 servings per day.
The problem lots of people make is they are constipated to start with and then they start taking the cleanse and don't drink enough water, and that makes things worse.

MsLady, yes, you can take them together, but not at the same time. The DrFloras cleanse will absorb any of the Hoodia Prime you take if you do them together. It will do this with any other supplement or medication you take.
So take your Hoodia Prime product for appetite suppression at a time other than when you take the DrFloras cleanse shake.

When i stumbled upon the site while looking for information about Evercleanse I was a little skeptical at first. But I have spent a good hour or so now reading through all the comments and all the information provided in the site. I only go to the bathroom maybe 3 times a week and i know that's not regular. Plus i get really gassy sometimes. So after reading all this i have just purchased my first colon cleanser kit from Dr. Floras.
I did not find any bad comments or negative feedback. Just one but the commenter was a little unreasonable. Many people have commented on how great it is and I am excited to be getting this product. I will check back in once I get it and let everyone know if it is working or not.

I haven't had side effects. Some people feel bloated initially, but that passes once the cleanse is complete and everything is flushed out.

I work full time in Real Estate, but never had any embarassing problems of having to run to the bathroom. I wanted to touch on a few topics about my site, since I just went through about 100 different comments.
First, when people post a comment, my site collects their IP address. An IP address is unique to each person's internet connection. It's like your 'online finger print'. This is done for two reasons:
First, it allows me to see if the same person is trying to post under different names. So don't do that, because you are wasting your time. Usually only competitors try to do this to bad mouth a quality product like DrFloras.
Second, I do this to keep real records of the comments posted at my sitein case I ever need to prove that the comments posted here are from real people, and not made up like 99% of the sites out there. The time is soon coming where the FTC is going to clean up the false advertising market, and those sites that have 'fake' testimonials and comments are going to get taken down, and the owners facing hefty fines or even jail time. That will be a great day for us all.
The next thing I want to talk about are the dozens of people who have written in saying they were scammed into buying some unknown cleansing product and an acai product. The sites that promote both of those together are most likely scamming you. You know the ones -- they all offer 'Free Trials for 14 days.'
I have NEVER seen one of those sites with legitimate reviews or real comments.
They are all fake.
I even had one person write in to me to tell me that one of those sites is using her 'before & after' weight loss photos without her permission, and she never used the products mentioned on that site.
Be careful of what you buy online. Most 'Review Sites' are fake. Do some research -- read what others are saying in forums and in blogs, before you buy.
It pains me to get emails from you guys saying you are trying other products (not endorsed here) and you're seeing NO RESULTS. It's not worth trying to save a few buck, when in the end you get a product that doesn't do squat.
That's why I will continue to endorse and promote DrFloras brand products... they work. Take 20 minutes to read through all of these comments and you'll see that others feel the same way.
